We start each session with Merrily Kissed the Quaker and the Kesh Jig, a pair of tunes that we played with Richard Browne when he first invited us to the session, then held at Katie O'Brian's Pub in Westmont, NJ, USA.  Richard returned to his native Ireland in 1995, settling in Ballinvoher in Kerry, outside Tralee and near Ardfert and Banna. We like to remember him by playing these tunes.

We end each session with The Atholl Highlanders.  Even though this is an unabashedly Scottish tune, we learned it from the recording "Fiddlesticks", which was made at a festival of Donegal fiddlers.
