DRIVING
From Valley Forge and West
Use the PA Turnpike and Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) to the 30th Street exit. Follow signs for West Philadelphia, turn right onto Market Street, heading west, away from the city. Go past the orange brick buildings of Drexel University. 3600 is on the southwest corner of 36th and Market Street on your left. A surface parking lot is across the street on the northwest corner (enter on 36th Street).
From the North
Take the Northeastern Extension of the PA Turnpike (I-476) south to the Mid-County exit. Continue south on I-476 to the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) to Philadelphia. Exit at 30th Street. Follow signs for West Philadelphia, turn right onto Market Street, heading west, away from the city. Go past the orange brick buildings of Drexel University. 3600 is on the southwest corner of 36th and Market Street on your left. A surface parking lot is across the street on the northwest corner (enter on 36th Street).
From the West and Southwest
Use Lancaster Avenue (US 30) or West Chester Pike (PA 3). Both lead into West Philadelphia. West Chester Pike ends at 69th Street. Lancaster runs to about 38th Street. Most numbered streets cross Market Street. Follow Market Street to 36th. 3600 is on the southwest corner of 36th and Market Street on your left. A surface parking lot is across the street on the northwest corner (enter on 36th Street).
From New Jersey
Cross the Ben Franklin Bridge and follow signs for I-676 to Center City. On 676 take exit for I-76 East (to International Airport), immediately get into right lane, and take exit for 30th Street Sation. Follow signs for West Philadelphia, turn right onto Market Street, heading west, away from the city. Go past the orange brick buildings of Drexel University. 3600 is on the southwest corner of 36th and Market Street on your left. A surface parking lot is across the street on the northwest corner (enter on 36th Street).
From Maryland and Delaware
Take I-95 North to the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76). Follow the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) to the South Street exit (exit is on the left). At top of ramp, turn left onto South Street. At the second light, turn right onto 33rd Street. Follow 33rd Street across Walnut and Chestnut Streets to Market Street. Turn left onto Market Street, heading west, away from the city. Go past the orange brick buildings of Drexel University. 3600 is on the southwest corner of 36th and Market Street on your left. A surface parking lot is across the street on the northwest corner (enter on 36th Street).
Traveling South on I-95 (from north of Philadelphia)
Take I-95 South to Exit 17 which is I-676 West (Center City). On I-676 West, take the exit for I-76 East (International Airport). Immediately get into right lane and take exit for 30th Street. Follow signs for West Philadelphia, turn right onto Market Street, heading west, away from the city. Go past the orange brick buildings of Drexel University. 3600 is on the southwest corner of 36th and Market Street on your left. A surface parking lot is across the street on the northwest corner (enter on 36th Street).
PARKING
Parking is available in open lots and a garage (the Market Street garage is usually filled by 9:00am daily) on the north side of Market Street between 36th and 38th Streets; on Chestnut Street (which runs one-way east) between 34th and 36th Streets; and in a garage at the corner of 34th and Chestnut Streets. Parking rates are about $8.00/day. Parking on the street is available with meters limited to 1-3 hours depending on location.
RETURNING HOME
To get to the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) going south and east, or to the Walt Whitman Bridge, or to the airport or I-95 South, take Market Stree east (toward downtown) to Schuylkill Avenue (just past the post office) and turn right. Follow signs to I-76 east and I-95 south.
To get to the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) going north and west, or to I-676 going east to I-95 or the Ben Franklin Bridge, take Market Stree to Schuykill Avenue (just past the Amtrak train station) and turn left. Follow signs to I-76 west or I-676 east and I-95 north.
